Health Science Building

At the new Health Science Building, students prepare for rewarding careers in a variety of medical fields.

At Ogeechee Technical College, students gain the knowledge they’ll need to become a vital part of tomorrow’s workforce. The Health Science Building is designed to advance the educational needs of those entering the fields of medical imaging, neuromuscular therapy, opticianry, radiology, echocardiography and other important fields. A state-of-the-art tiered seating demonstration hall, biology lab and dedicated computer labs support these programs. In addition, the design provides casual interaction spaces to engage students outside the classroom.

Noteworthy: After reviewing the existing campus master plan, the design team recommended to relocate and reorient the Health Science Building to better align with the goals of the College. The expanded scope was identified as being critical to the future growth of the campus, and was accomplished without increase in budget or sacrifice of quality.
