Clarke Central High School

Through a series of complex renovation phases, Collins Cooper Carusi worked with Clarke County School District on various campus improvements and additions that provide the school the space it needs for future growth.

The renovation and expansion of CCHS increased classroom sizes and total number of classrooms, included a new science wing, new performing art rehearsal space and renovations to Mel Auditorium, the school’s primary performance venue. A new media center is the focal point of the courtyards and classroom wings, integrating state-of-the-art technology where students can thrive.

Noteworthy: The project team designed exterior courtyards and a network of bridges that allow students to traverse the commons with ease, reinforcing the community of Clarke Central High School students, faculty and staff.
