South Cobb High School Competition Gym + Renovations

The Cobb County School District entrusted us with this project after our successful completion of the Campbell High School Gym Addition several years ago. The familiar horseshoe-shaped seating layout, initially developed for that project, has been carried forward here and is now a standard across the county.

This gymnasium functions not only as a versatile athletic arena but also as a venue for graduations and other large gatherings, offering the community a dynamic space for events of all sizes.

The building is thoughtfully aligned along a central axis that connects it with the heart of the campus, marked by a large circular plaza. This intentional alignment creates a natural flow from the school’s interior to the gym, leading to the main entrance.
