Nearly 400 student athletes across 17 teams, along with dozens of professional support staff, all operate within the complex of two buildings known as Arthur B. Edge & Homer Rice.
With new Georgia Tech Athletic Association (GTAA) leadership in place, CCCA’s programming effort helped to identify and prioritize key operational goals of the GTAA, which then informed a much more ideal workplace for staff as well as created an inspirational facility of which athletes, coaches and alumni could be proud. The resulting solution re-engineered circulation and program modules to significantly improve functionality of spaces as well as collaboration and communication throughout the facility.
Noteworthy: Focused consideration was paid to reinterpreting a historical museum component, elevating a highly-competitive sports medicine practice, providing advanced learning spaces for academic support, and leveraging impact of the buildings’ exterior without over reaching resources.
