Hyatt Regency Coconut Point was
conceived as a resort in the tradition of the great
Hawaiian hotels. Because of the near tropical climate
in Naples, Florida, Coconut Point can open great
mahogany doors out onto grand porches and verandas,
allowing the cool breezes to flow through much of
the public areas.
Thematically,
the interior design work reinforces this tropical
concept with the liberal use of mahogany
furnishings that recall the eclectic mix of styles
that grew out of the 1920’s Naples. The
hotel contains 450 guestrooms that are oversized
to accommodate
resort amenities such as four fixture bath areas
and sitting areas in the guestrooms.
