Working
with Omni Hotels, Turner Properties, Georgia World
Congress Center and the
City of Atlanta, this new 27-story, $70 million dollar
tower was conceived to take advantage of the hotel’s
excellent location adjacent to the GWCC and make
it a true
headquarters hotel. 600 new guestrooms were added
along with two ballrooms of 34,000 square feet and
various other meeting spaces.
The
new tower is linked to the original hotel via a
reconfigured and redesigned
existing skybridge and the addition has its own
motor lobby.
Work illustrated here was accomplished while
James R. McAuliffe, current Principal at
CCCA was a Principal and Owner at another
firm.
